Also Godgotthis is talking about an emergency AP I'm sure it won't take as much time as yours did! It's quite URGENT.

I went for AP on 12/27/18 they didn’t give it to me. I apply for it on 11/29/18, 4 weeks to get appointment here in Chicago.

I finally got the approval I131 on 4/26/19 but I didn’t use it, I prefer to be cautious.

@Pinkrlion you are correct, my document says very clearly in 2 different paragraphs that is up to the BPO to allowed you to enter back, so I better be safe until I get my Interview.

Wow! So not cool! This was in March! Probably still under review...there have been a handful of folks who had to wait a while after interview to get approval. Try to get your congressman to enquire..perhaps that might stir something..I know the situation is inconveniencing! I really hope and pray something happens real quick for you dear!🙏

I heard seldom  cases take up to180 days to get GC after approval, I hope yours come soon!!!!

@Stillwinning!!!😊 Good morning dear,  @Trizzle so yesterday I decided to call my lawyers office continuously until I got a response,  I called them from 11am till 3pm , secretary keep saying hold , let me transfer u and manager not picking up and that went on till 3pm b4 someone pop out introduce herself and said my work permit is ready for pickup and so I told her I was gonna send FedEx to pick it up, they said cool.. I sent FedEx there and they had refused FedEx the pickup and as soon as FedEx got back to me on that I called the lawyers office again and the secretary picked and I asked her why my package wasnt giving to FedEx as instructed,  and she said there is a game going on in this office  with my work permit that I dont understand,  and the game is between the manager and one other lady and there and she insisted I had talk to either of them... she pass the phone and the lady was like ,hmmm the FedEx couldn't pronounce ur name that why we didnt give him so I responded and said I am booking my flight now see u guys soon... so am going there now , .. if it takes me to phat 6times in their office I will, and I will make sure the whole doors and windows are locked tight.. when am done with them, they would be begging me with my card and $2000

Don’t leave until you get your work permit. Clearly they are playing around with it because they wanna swindle more money from you.

I’ve been in your position before. It was so bad my lawyer told me I was gonna get denied, he didn’t show up for my interview, I had to call for everything and drove 6 hours each time to get to the office. To get 1 document I had to drive all that way.

We can File a complaint against our lawyer  with the state's lawyer discipline agency you can find which agency depending on the state your lawyer is located. In most states, it's the bar association... Maybe the bar association action will  not be fast but they will know you are not playing.... This is very unprofessional, and lawyers and firm also have to respond and be professional to keep their licences. This is  a country where the law exist and anybody can be sued, and stand for their rights... Lawyers are not untouchable we just don't know how and where to deal with this type situation.
