A Prima Facie determination of eligibility for VAWA means your application, as filed, has passed the "first test of fire", so to speak.. in that USCIS, upon checking your application has found it "Approvable As Filed", that is it can be approved if all you submitted upon investigation is credible..based on the documentary proof that accompanied the I-360. That's a good thing. But it is by no means a guarantee that your VAWA will ultimately be approved. Once your application is assigned to an adjudicating officer, he/she might decide to request more information or clarification from you and thus issue an RFE. Hopefully you got a good lawyer who prepared and filed the VAWA on your behalf.

prima facie is not infinite, hence the requirement for renewal! We are not sure why some folks get it and others don't! But in all it's not a guarantee for approval fear not!😊

Do we have to renew it or does it get automatically renewed /extended ?

Vawa isn’t about what happens next in your life. All is about to be able to approve the abuse wether is physical, psychological or both eje you apply!

Congratulations in your divorce but more specifically that you are able to have your kid next to you!

Congratulations on the successful divorce..and securing partial custody of your son Wolf2020! This however has nothing to do with the success of your VAWA petition. There are stated guidelines and requirements to meet in other to get approved..once you meet them, you'll get approved regardless of past present or current happenings! Here's wishing you all the best..👍

I never submit fee wiver

Every time i submit notice approved of vawa and i485 ,  , should be ok?

You don't need to paid to renew your I-765 since your I-485 is still pending and you paid initially the I-485 fee when you filed.  Just submit copy of your I-485  and Approved I-360 as before to get it renew it.

The only relevance your divorce has on your VAWA case is your eligibility to file.

Now u can focus on yourself and your child and live your life.

how long does it take to receive RFE letter from uSCIS? they sent mine last wednesday but i havent received it yet 😞

You might get it before the day is over or maybe tomorrow as you said it was sent since Wed of last week! Usually takes anywhere from 3 to 5 days..but of course it's not fixed! Could be longer..mine took about 3/4 days!

Hi everyone! I need your advice, I am set to have a job interview this week in Cooperstown, NY and they’re willing to give me a job offer letter once I get done with the interview. My major concern is, is it safe to travel there knowing that ICE did a random inspection at a bus station in Syracuse? Am I safe that I am still waiting for an approval of my I-360? Please help @sandranj

You seem to be the only confused one. Just tell me you don't understand English and you need more explanation rather than being a obnoxious .
