Hu vj family.

Question, when you get your visa approved after your interview where do they send it? Is there a specific place thats faster to receive it that way youre able to leave mexico quicker... i know at the time of scheduling your medical appointment they ask you, and so ive been told. I simply want to be prepared.

@JanettRod read this = https://www.***removed***/us-visa/passport-delivery.html.  You will need to select/designate the DHL pick-up location you want the passport with approved visa delivered.  If you plan to stay in Ciudad Juarez after interview/approval, you'll need to research and select the DHL customer service location closest to the CDJ Consulate or where you will be staying.  Likewise also read this = https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-mx/iv/information/courier.  Do you have your interview appointment date yet?  Buen suerte.

Gracias. I appreciate your detailed message.

Not yet, I want to be prepared on what to do when date is scheduled. It’s taking forever for interviews to be given out.

@MXcompadre  thank you very very much.

Do you know if one must submit passport photos when sending in the whole packet with the affidavit of support?

@JanettRod I assume you have thoroughly researched and read the VJ CR-1/IR-1 visa guide = https://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1/.  Based on your previous post it cannot determined as to whether you have already submitted your I-130 petition, or whether you are assembling the pre-interview items.  If you submitted photos with the filing of your I-130 petition, then no further photos are necessary.  However, if you are indoubt and want to play it safe bring/submit extra additional photos so that you will avoid receiving an interview RFE .  Research also whether passport photos are required at the time of the medical exam.

Hi @MXcompadre I130 filed a while ago. I’m in the process of submitting the packet with all documents supporting the affidavit.
