I had my interview May 14, I waited for the ISSUED status after 9 working days. It really is frustrating and I also felt like I was the only one left who's not yet been issued, especially when I see that those who have been interviewed on a later date than mine was already getting their visa on hand, but I stopped checking the website on the 6th day and hey it works! As long as you're on Non-immigrant AP means you're files are there and not lost. You don't have to worry a thing and just be glad that you are not denied. It will come soon.

I know it's a hard concept to put your head around BUT USCIS, NVC and your Embassy NEVER promised a date when things would be complete! NEVER!!

They promised you only one thing, the most important thing and that is a YES or NO to your case. Haven't they delivered what they promised??

You'll worry about so many little things when it comes to this process. It's so simple. Fill out a form, submit your backup documentation, pay your fees and WAIT for the answer to your application, case number or interview results/visa.

My fiancé's visa is being packaged from the consular division, it's been in the issued for almost 2 weeks now. Visa was approved on May 17th. Had a K-2 in there as well, and that one was stuck on Application Received, until I asked my fiancé to call the embassy earlier this week, within 24 hours it went to Administrative Processing to Issued. Now they are in packaging to be sent.

Rox's took exactly 2 weeks from interview until visa in hand. Some got theirs a little earlier some a little later in our interview date group. They didn't misplace a stack of files)) They just have such a high volume. Plus there might have been a couple of holidays thrown in for the end of May and the beginning of June. I know it excruciating but the visas will come. Take Care and good luck)

CEAC status was ISSUED May 17?    I can understand them holding it for the K-2, but someone dropped the ball there.  Good thing y'all called

Visa was approved on the 17th. It was in AP for about a week, then went issued. I think the K-2 was hung up until she called, cause that moved to issued very quickly. Hopefully get to fly them both here in 2 weeks, but not purchasing the ticket until visa in hand. Plus they still have to get their CFO sticker since she has the certificate already.

Being told approved at the interview isn't really approved, actually approval doesn't happen until you see ISSUED on CEAC .. that is APPROVED!  :)

The child is 12 or under,?  Then only needs to register with CFO for the sticker.   And of course they want their P400.  ;)

Where in Minni-snow-da ?

I'm a small town boy, grew up in a little town just south of the Twin Cities.   My sister lives up near Cross Lake .. so we do get snow reports.

Akeley, Minnesota to be precise. I know where Cross Lake is. I'm in the northern area, by Leech Lake, Walker area. Small town, but a lot of Filipino's around here so she will have familiar people to talk to and network with. Yeah, the K-2 is 5 years old. And yeah, always get their fee's. It's getting so close to the finish line, I'm trying to be patient. Thankfully have a new construction project going on that is keeping me busy crimping networking lines. Time is flying.   ;)

I know the Walker area ..   I lived up in Nisswa & Backus for a time.   An uncle lived up in Effie    And Fifty Lakes was my summer stomping grounds for many years.

That area has changed a ton since I lived up there.  But I got smart and moved to AZ to escape the cold & snow.  Then when someone was "drying out" in the dry heat .. we moved east.

And of course you know the poodle joke .. ;)

Backus is really close, just a drive down 64 and there in about 20 - 30 minutes. Nisswa area is nice, close to Brainerd/Baxter. I like the small towns though. The bigger the town, more traffic and a hassle, roads up north aren't meant for the heavy traffic they sometimes get, and we don't get the funding like the larger cities.

To track your visa at USEM head on over to Hank's page where he explains the options you have. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "tracking your visa package." Congratulations.

Oh I know well what you are saying.  Nisswa is maybe 20,000 in the off season and over 200,000 during the weekends in the peak of summer.  I was always glad when everyone headed back to the city.
