You have waited a while, but you are far from the longest wait.

We waited 150 days for the NOA-2, with no complications and more than ample income. Others waited much longer.... some years....

Have you contacted USCIS? Do you have an online account? Have you received an RFE?

Please advise.

Thomas&Cyril,

Don't listen to the mis-information line. 6 months? Ridiculous.

Call over and over, until you get results. Make it a daily mission.

You can also contact your senator's immigration liaison (via their website and online privacy form) to ask for assistance.

We waited 168 days . . .

still waitng!!!!!!

According to the time line page 19% of January filers and 45% of Feb filers have NOT received the NOA2 yet. I am 2 days behind you, no touch yet. Hang in there. It can be a bit frustrating seeing all the other approvals come thru. It is hard to wait but, what else can you do. We here at VJ only represent a small portion of the visa apps. I like to think that we are a good indicater for the overall K1 apps though.

I want our approval as much as anyone else, however I do not agree with calling them every day, all day when I am still within a reasoable time frame. Constant calling by every one only prolongs the process, can create attitude problems with over worked and stressed out underpaid people who have no personel connection to any of the applications. This may get some folks a bit upset but, sometimes the squeaky wheel gets tossed out instead of greased.

Good luck to you. Some petitions may be held up because your paperwork is with someone who files them a little slower than others or has a larger backlog. Not sure if that's the case, but like any workplace, there's always that person you want to send something to and always someone you don't. I hope you'll get approved soon, so hang in there!

First off - since the thought has come up again in this line - calling USCIS repeatedly will not make them mad at you or cause them to lose your package or take revenge on you. WON'T HAPPEN.

Calling them repeatedly probably also won't speed things up.

As suggested above, call your senator's or your congressional member's office and ask to speak to their immigration case worker. To reach them, go to www.house.gov, enter your ZIP code, and then look on that member's website for the phone number to the district office (that's the office in, or close to, your hometown, the one IN the state in which you live). Call and ask for the case worker. See if that gets help. It still might not speed things up.

I was another 100+ filer through CSC. I've seen some 120+ as well. It is a terribly long time, especially when most get through under 100 days.

Good luck!
