Medical examination question

Hi guys,

I came to the U.S on 4th of July on K1 visa, got married, applied for I-485 . On May 31 status on the website changed to ‘scheduled for the interview’ (idk the date yet) my medical examination was back in April 2018. My question is do I need to complete a new medical exam or is my old one from Ukraine still valid? I read on USCIS website that the new one is not required if the application was filed within one year of the date of the original medical examination. Please share your experience, especially those who’ve had their interview in Chicago, IL.

A new medical isn't required if you had one overseas, and you filed for AOS within 1 year of the medical date.

The medical that is done within the US expires after 1 year no matter what. But you had your medical outside the US so you're not required to have another one.

A correction to my own post, the medical done within the US only expires after 2 years now, that was recently changed from 1 year.
