My interview is tomorrow at Mount Laurel, NJ. A bit nervous... I’ll try to remember as much as details as I can do you guys that haven’t do your interview have an idea of what’s coming :)

I had a really easy interview. A bit of a wait but not bad. The lady was so sweet, professional! Questions were simple and we actually talk about our kids for a bit since i was her last appointment. My oath is today too. So no need to wait for a letter. 

 

Good luck everyone in your journey.

Ps. I was asked what is the capital of USA, who was the first president, who is the president, why the colonist came to America, two more questions I honestly forgot. 

 

She didn’t ask me for any documents besides my dL, green card and passport

The speaker called my son to do the pledge of allegiance with us, he is six years old, he made me and some of the women there cried... great ceremony! 

So grateful I don’t have to come again and I could do the whole interview and oath same day.

Has anyone seen this message before? Starting today I see this status online.  Is this message something to be concerned about?

 No it is not accurate, when I started my process it told my it was 16 months, even after I finished the process it still saying 2 months.

I got an update today that my interview has been scheduled on USCIS website. I don't have any info on the date/time. 

 

Applied June 21, 2019

Biometrics July 17, 2019

Lawrence, MA field office

Expected completion: December 2019 

 

I751 Pending, so I'm assuming this will be a combo interview, unless the application gets approved between now and the interview date
