where do you guys find out the estimated completion time? filed in June 2019 (paper forms), did my biometrics early july and my uscis online portal said the following

"You successfully submitted your form

We are processing your form. It can take up to 48 hours for all of your case information to show on your home page."

I applied through the mail.  My estimated time showed up the day after I had my biometrics taken.

can you tell me which link you go online and check? I am confused because there is one for case status and there is one my.uscis.gov

I submitted by N400 by mail and after submission I received online code in mail and with the help of online code I made online account on my account.uscis.gov and now every letter I receive it’s already scan in documents same. My case number start with IOE means it’s same for online or paper submission.

Hi @Nevada16. Congrats for getting an interview in less than 3 months. I have aquestion regarding the processing time. I see on USCIS Website that it takes between 11 to 17 months for Reno NV. But I see that you applied in June and getting your interview in September. Is it because you applied under the 5 year rule or it just the processing time on CIS website is not accurate?

I don’t think it’s due to 5 year rule. I think they are trying to make process faster and efficient.

Thank you,

patsfan038 -  we have a very similar timeline. My wife did her biometrics on July 10.

On August 30 she was notified that her interview is scheduled for October 3rd. At that time her "estimated completion time" was 3 months (November 2019) and "wait time" was 29 days.

What I deduct from this is that the fist estimated date is complete through oath taking, which often takes place within a month of the interview. The second estimate is when you can expect a status update. As you can see, the later is not all that accurate; in our case we were ahead by roughly 27 days.
