Hello, everyone! I'm in need of an advice. A few days ago I received a RFE notice. It says that they need additional evidence. There is also a list of already provided evidence of marital bona fides. Amongst it listed: Partial copy of a lease agreement And partial copy of income tax returns. Now, what exactly means "partial". Did I not send enough documents related with my tax returns or lease agreement. And should I send something additional regarding those tax returns or should I just send 2019 tax returns? Hope for your help. Thank you

You may want to submit the last 3 years of tax transcripts from IRS which you can get it for free from the following link...

post a copy of your letter and what you submitted in a new post if you want others to help you.

Partial probably means you didn't send all pages, or not all years.

Hi everyone,

I know we are all waiting for word but with all the chaos going on I was wondering, what will happen if the green card does not arrive on time? Will my husband have to move back home until it does? Is there anything we can do in the meantime to prevent this from happening? Thanks and keeping my fingers crossed for all of us.

No.  Your husband will not lose his status as a legal resident.  USCIS offices can place I-551 stamps in his passport if his extension letter is near expiration.  That stamp is merely evidence of his status....it is NOT the status, itself.  Only an immigration judge can remove a person's LPR status.....

EDIT:  We filed my wife's I-751 in March 2019.....still waiting, too.   I'm not worried about her status......and you shouldn't worry either...🙂

normally they can put this stamp but I looks like there is no protocol yet regarding how to process such cases with USCIS offices being closed at the moment.

USCIS will still address emergency situations........but with or without the stamp, a person still has LPR status until an immigration judge rules otherwise.  The stamp is only evidence of status.

Hi guys! I filed my 751 in to Vermont in July 2019. I got my bio-metrics done about a month later and 250 days later (03/23/2020) I received a request for additional evidence, even though the system says they're on September 2018.

Originally I sent:

1. Bank Statement (they said minimal joint usage of the account for household bills)

2. Service Member's Life Insurance naming me as beneficiary

3. My insurance naming him as beneficiary

4. Taxes transcripts for 2015 to 2018

5. Lease

6. Pay Stub

7. His military ID and mine

8. Vacation Photos

I am so confused because at our first interview we clearly discussed my husband is stationed in Virginia and I live in New York. My daughter lives with me - (not his child). I am holding down the bills in New York and he is Holding down the bills in Virginia.

Everything they asked for in the list, I've already sent but at the end of the letter is says do not send previous documents sent.

The only things I can send are:

1. His car insurance documents with my name on it as well

2. My utility bill with both our names on it

3. A letter from my daughter's school saying his is her guardian as well

4. 2 affidavit letters

5. 2019 Tax return

6. Updated photos

Should I also write a letter stating that we do not live together, he is even getting ordered to move to South Carolina...so I'm not sure what else to provide.

Please feel free to suggest any additional tips! - this is so overwhelming.

We just got notice "New Card Is Being Produced" today!  I guess this means approval!

LIN filer here.  Can see our timeline for more dates.  Submitted and received, depending on which USCIS website you check is between 5/29 and 6/5.

Do you get an email/text notification or do you just check regularly to see if it's been updated?
