Hang in there...our AOS was well over 270 days before my husband was approved. Some on here have been waiting far longer.

I'm so sorry for you... I've heard from some couples who moved during AOS that it takes longer. They thought it might be that when you move it's like you start all over with the waiting time at the new local office.... That's not official info though....

Good luck!!!

In my case it was a matter of being in the slowest office in the country... New Orleans. We moved to Alabama and I have an interview date for next week so someone there was on the ball as I was way outside of Atlantas processing dates.

Its been 11 months since I submitted my AOS papers with a couple of infopass appointments to check on the progress.

Pretty much once you tick over there timeframe (and remember that they are posted on the website for the work visa not family, but use that anyway as the last officer I spoke to referred to that timeframe so go figure) infopass and see where your at.

I made my first infopass at 6 months figuring that if President Bush says that cases should take 6 months then where the heck is my interview!

New Orleans is a different kettle of fish and Im glad we moved or else I would still be waiting for a interview date!

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline

thanks for all the positive vibes being sent my way. I too am being processed at a very slow office DC! I just don't when I should be getting worried because the processing dates are not accurate and the closest infopass place for me is a 3 hour drive. It's just crazy that people are waiting years, while some seem wait just a few months. wishing greencard speed for us all.
