Hi,

I am a USC (Black American) -  married my spouse who was born in India and is currently here on F-1 status doing CPT he has been here since 2012 and has always maintained legal status. We have been together since 2017. We married in early February and sent our AOS application at the beginning of March.

Our priority date is March 6th. 

My husband completed his biometrics exam and toward the end of May we recieved our notification date for interview. Our interview date is June 20th.  

 

Does this timeline sound reasonable? I was a bit shocked to find out out that we recieved an interview so quickly and we have not received and EAD or advance parole document either. 

Our interview will be in Lawrence, MA.

There are some people who chase luck and some who luck chases. You happen to be on the latter category. Probably USCIS is randomly implementing LIFO policy. Congras and good luck.

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Same center .... Biometric done months ago .. no word from them.  A few more months and I'll start raising h*ll with my left wing-communist Congressman claiming discrimination (though he only love illegals) , he'll take the opportunity to bash the Administration.
