i made homemade chicken fajitas with some sour cream...chips and salsa....they were a BIG HIT!

Filed DCF in Jordan from 7-05 to 3-06, Approved for I-R1.

Immigration Free until 2008.

I actually caught up on some sleep last night....Ive only been sleeping 4-6 hours a night so I wake up this morning and low and behold i was out cold for 9 hours...It feels good.sofyan tagged along with his brother to work this morning...Im stuck babysitting and still trying to get things cleaned up....my family hasnt really been pressuring us alot, because they know how sick i have been....we have many family parties coming this month and next....easter, 2 communions, and a wedding....sofyan will have plenty of time to endure the wrath of the ginormous Lannan family.....i started showing him the photo albums of my dads 10 brothers and sisters and my 52 cousins.....he was like WHAT?!?!?!??!?!? i didnt think it would be so bad considering the size of arab families, but he was shocked...I guess he will get adjusted to them in time.....things couldnt be better here....except im missing his family oh so bad, and i know he is too....weve been so good about seeing his fam on the comp an hour or less a day....but its sooo not the same....having two lives and two families , 7000 miles apart is so not fun.....im sure u can all relate though....well i gotta run....figured i would just keep u all updated...

Kelly sounds like you got some much needed rest. I am sure your happy to be home and yet missing the family back in Jordon. How could you not after living with them? Take care of yourself and I am sure you will make some adjustments and you have a busy schedule ahead of you with all the upcoming family events.

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

***MY HUSBAND IS NOW A USC***

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

1/10/09 ------> Rec'd US passport card and Natz cert.

03/03/2010 - Oath Ceremony in Brooklyn

03/13/2010 - U.S. Passport in hand
