Hi everyone,

A quick update, JUAN'S NAMECHECK HAS CLEARED!!!!!!! I am sooo happy. I would say that my husband is happy also, but he doesn't even know yet. He's at work right now. :dance: :dance: :dance: I am thinking about how to tell him the good news. I'm thinking about maybe waiting until the card comes in the mail and then wrapping it up for him. I just don't think I can wait that long.

Well anyway, I checked on the USCIS status and to my surprise, it said that a notice welcoming permanent resident was mailed on Feb. 8th. So this means the name check is done. It took 4 months to get Juan cleared from his name check.

I am so glad that we will not need to renew the AP or EAD, since they expire in August. Now we can really start to make plans for our religious wedding in Mexico this summer.

WOO HOO, I have been so happy all morning! I will let you know when the card arrives.

Finally, USCIS did it. I just want to share our happiness with the VJ's Family here. Thank you God and everyone here!

GREEN CARDS ARRIVE!!! 02/29/08. :thumbs::dance:

GREEN CARDS ARRIVED IN THE MAIL YESTERDAY FOR CHUCK AND ZHANGBEI AND ONE2ZEE(XUERU)

WE MOVED AND CHANGED OUR ADDRESS IN DECEMBER. USCIS SENT A LETTER ACKNOWLEDGING THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS.........AND GUESS WHAT? THEY STILL SENT THE GREEN CARDS TO OUR OLD ADDRESS. :wacko: LUCKILY THE POST OFFICE FORWARDED TO OUR NEW ADDRESS!

ANYWAY.......THIS CHAPTER IS OVER.......AT LEAST FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS. MAYBE BY THEN THEY WILL HAVE OUR ADDRESS CORRECTED.........BUT THEN AGAIN MAYBE NOT. LOL

Yes, I did contact my Local Congress Woman. I sent them an email through the web. Three weeks later, we got approved. It is worth it to give them a call. It is better than hiring a lawyer and waste our hard earn money on them. :)
