The greencard arrived in my mail 11 days after the interview. It was 3 days after the approval notice was to read on the website.

Hi all,

Our interview was at the San Bernadino office. My appointment was at 9:15 AM, I showed up at 8:30AM. I did not get in for an interview till 10 AM. All the people came in after me and got in for an interview first. I was almost the last one to get in for interview. The Officer is an A * S and racist - Hispanic officer. He gave my wife a hard time and said you dont' speak English and you need a translator. I can bearly understand what words came out from his mouth. He got heavy accent and I can bearly heard him. I told him can you speak slowly and be patient with my wife. She is currently pregnant and she got her morning sickness. At first he gave attitude then later on he thought about it. He told my wife dont be scare and stuff. I think he was affraid that i will sue his A*s for scaring my wife. Afterward he said he approved my case but still need a name check. My wife have a twin sister and the office thought it was the same person applied it twice for this proccess. They have to wait for the name check from FBI. They sent out an order for the file in July and got nothing back at the interview. They said they will approve my case but they still need to see that file. I have to wait 30 days to hear from them. If i hear nothing after 30 days, i have to go in and see him.

I will update again on my case.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation.

I guess we were very lucky in San Bernadino. First of all we came in 15 min before time. It was a very nice and calm black man.

I can speak English so no problems there.

ooops :blush: sorry i should have said....... i'm sorry that you had a bad experience during your interview, the IO sounded like a right azz, something that nobody should have to deal with, he should have been more considerate of your wife's feelings.

Thank you all!!

From what I heard and experience with, Black people and White People are really nicer to deal with. I guess i am in the wrong town If i am in Orange County, i would get better treatment For now i just hope my case will go through so i can get a California ID and Driver License for my wife. This way she can drive to school and work. This will make her life easier for her.
