That's all? Is there some kind of interview we have to have together before he gets the GC or is this it?

At the Biometric Appointment you will get your photo and fingerprints taken. After the Biometric Appointment your case will go in one of two directions. On the one hand, it could be transferred to CSC where it is generally approved without an Interview. On the other hand, it will be handled by the Local Immigration Office near you and--in this case--you generally will have an Interview. In both cases, you may receive a RFE (request for evidence) where you will be asked to send in additional documents or information. After your Interview, the GC should come quickly as long as your case does not get bogged down in an FBI Background Check on your name.

This may be an oversimplification of the whole process, but it is my understanding of the GC process. I know the FAQs and Guides have helpful info. Also, I believe there is a special thread of discussions for cases "Transferred to CSC" and for cases bogged down in "FBI Background Check". These threads will give you much more specific info if you are interested.

Best of luck to all June filers. I am bitting my fingernails waiting for our Biometrics Appointment Letter, but I guess I just need to be more patient. B)
