Goodluck NatyLaloPeru, ELW and chelsea.and.john on your interview tom

Good Luck tomorrow guys

thanks! i have to admit, im terrified!!!

Thanks for the best wishes all! I'm getting more nervous as the minutes go by. Mostly due to the TB skin test, how people in this city reported that it was necessary to get a doc to sign the results but I called all docs and they all say they will only do it with a note from the Immigration dept stating exactly what is needed... AND they want to do a full physical too. :crying: So we couldn't get anything done and now just trying to stay calm... interview at 9:30AM tomorrow. :help:

Receipt Number: MSC07XXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On September 17, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.:thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs:

Thanks to all for information shared, advice and love. I wish and pray that all those who are still expecting, receive theirs too. You guys are awesome.

My advice is to be prepared,be calm and be truthfull during interview. Do not give answers to questions you are not being asked.Be bold and look into the eye of the interviewer when asked questions and respond directly. Never go worried or scared. As long as your marriage is real , you have all docs required you will overcome even the most difficult interviewer. The most important thing is to be very patient,we all want to get approval ASAP, but there is always a purpose for everything, even if your file is moving slow there is a good pupose for it.

Goodluck to all.

I'll join you in that club, MariaDane. :( Nothing yet on the interview, and living in Washington DC doesn't help. One of the slowest in the system. Unfortunately, no CSC for us.

We went to our AOS interview today and it was APPROVED!! Yay!! Our interview was at 9:03AM but we got there about 8:30 and waited. There was only one other couple there. A lady called us at about 8:55A and we went and sat in her office. She interviewed us both in Spanish since my husband doesn't speak English. One of his friends came in case he needed an interpreter and they wouldn't let me translate but luckily the lady spoke Spanish. She asked to see our passports and ID's and then asked a few questions like how did we meet, when did we meet. She asked me how many times I had been to Peru and I told her about 8-9 times and she was like..."Really, that's expensive, how did you afford that" like she didn't really believe me - but I just told her that I worked and saved money to go and when I was younger my parents also helped me out and also my church when I went on missions trips there. She asked me what my husband's parents names were and how many people came to our wedding. She asked us why we wanted to live here instead of in Peru. She asked him for our home address and telephone number and his social security number and some of the "No" questions. She had a HUGE file of basically every paper we've ever sent in. She asked to see some documents of stuff we have together so we showed her bank statements, medical/life insurance and a letter from my dad stating we are living in his house for the time being. I asked her if she wanted to see my wedding pictures but she said no. I was disspointed b/c I worked really hard on our photo albums of our wedding. She asked what we had in common and why we were attracted to each other. Then she had us sign a paper saying that the green card was only conditional and that in 90 days of expiration we need to apply for the conditional status to be removed, blah, blah, blah and that was it - she said he would receive his green card within 30 days. All that only took about 10 minutes - we were out of there by 9:10 and we never even showed all of the other documents. At least that is over and we get a break for 2 years!!!!:dance:
