We got the TB skin test results (from govt health clinic) and have been searching for civil surgeons who will concur with it. Most of them want the full physical done with them, or they will not write the statement to agree with the govt test results! I still need to check with 3-4 docs who said call back on Monday. One doc said MANY immigration patients are returning for the statement, so I guess here in Fresno they will REQUIRE it before green card is granted! What a last minute headache! (We waited weeks for the test results to come in the mail, thus the delay). Now I'm worried that I might not find a doc to do it and the green card will get delayed because we will have to shell out full money for physical just to get the darn agreement statement from the doc!

thanks for all the good lucks and prayers guys! i am honestly FREAKING OUT!!!!!! ive been getting all our stuff together today for tuesday. ive got all the regular stuff, the originals of all our copies we sent in, and my other stuff includes....our lease for my grandpa's house, a copy of my life insurance enrollment that lists my husband as the beneficiary, a copy of the bill with kay jewelers for me paying our wedding rings off (STILL! lol), and various cards to each other and from members of our family, wedding pics, family pics, etc. does that sound alright? we really dont have much in both our names since he doesnt have his SS# yet. any opinions?

Hi guys yep not much in both our names either, I have just the apartment lease, PG&E, joint bank account, joint credit card. Open enrollment for my insurance is not until Oct so I couldn't do that. Also I have 2 notarized letters from friends stating we are a real couple etc. Good luck to all of us on Tuesday and beyond!

So that means that if you already have your Green Card..there's no reason to apply for Advance Parole since you can travel outside the USA??

yup. you dont need to worry about advanced parole at all!

That's correct. You don't need it with a GC. As soon as you have your GC you become a LPR therefore you can travel as you want.

The AP is pretty much for people who have scheduled trips outside of the US or have to deal with an emergency. Since most visas are single entry visas, if people live the country while GC pending and without an AP the USCIS considers that they abandon their case, that's why it can be usefuk to have it until the GC.
