AOS & EAD June 2007 Filers

Hey everyone! I wanted to update you and let you know that I received my EAD and AOS receipts, And I finally have an A number! I feel so excited!

AOS and I-765 sent June 15

Received in Chicago June 18

Recieved my biometric date today.

Appointment on July 10 2007

We mailed my AOS and EAD application last June 1st and we got the NOA1 for my AOS in mail today- June 18th. The thing is they sent me a rejection notice for my EAD because i didnt send them a check for that...and they said i need to send a check worth $180 to the same address Chicago, IL so they can process my EAD. If that's the caes..we can send another check but is it advisable to apply for EAD? Or just wait for the GC..and how long does the GC takes?

Hi could you amend my biometrics date on the list please from 6/26/07 to 6/18/07............The lady was so kind to do both my EAD and AOS biometrics today to save me the trouble of going back next week

our checks haven't cashed yet. hopefully Monday or Tuesday. never thought I'd look forward to seeing checking account balance go down.

You're right about that. ..my checks were cashed today .I can't believe I'll be very happy to see my account balance go down today. I'm hoping to receive my NOA's pretty soon!

We mailed my AOS and EAD application last June 1st and we got the NOA1 for my AOS in mail today- June 18th. The thing is they sent me a rejection notice for my EAD because i didnt send them a check for that...and they said i need to send a check worth $180 to the same address Chicago, IL so they can process my EAD. If that's the caes..we can send another check but is it advisable to apply for EAD? Or just wait for the GC..and how long does the GC takes?

I would also like to know how I can arrange to have both of them arranged on the same day because it's nearly impossible for me to find a baby sitter for my 10-month-old for so many hours. I don't know how it is in VA, but in NYC you have to sow up hours before your appointment before you are even seen.
