hey guys,

we had our interview yesterday and it was just like most poeple here said it would be.. quick and pain free.

we walked in the door 10am our appoint was at 10:30am so we waited til they called us at 10:35 the officer was great, friendly and well went prepared with a 5 binders worht of evidence and 7 photo albums. he only asked to lest c step by step i was really nervous

  1. we did oath
  2. asked for passports my wife the usc and mine
  3. than he asked for ID's
  4. than marriage certificate
  5. than he asked if i had another passport because i didn't have a visa on mine and i explained i had a visitor border crosser card wish i overstayed since early 90's when i was like 10 and he took it and left for about 10mins verifying it was real i guess
  6. than he asked to c proof of marrieage so i hit him with our car insurance,boatins,business ins, life insurance, all had both our names
  7. than i gave him my wife's test resuslts we just found out we're pregnant on monday
  8. than he asked for wedding stuff, we only had a civil ceremony so we only 1 picture of the wedding and a video he ask for the pic and said it was fine,
  9. tax returns
  10. lease agreement
  11. oh yeah and back account statement with both our names
  12. ***bank***
  13. than he asked me why i needed a GC and i said for work and freedom
  14. and asked my wife same question and answered the same
  15. than he took my passport and put a stamp on it and also printed out a paper with conditional GC rules
  16. i was not expecting a stamp, i should add its only good for 30 days and i used already , went to mexico and back with no problem!
  17. he said we would get GC in approx 2 weeks

our interview was in chula vista,ca all this only took about 20 mins including the 10 mins he lft to verify visitor border crosser

i have a question if anybody knows how long after interview has it being taking to update online?

Could you fill in your timeline and tell your story? It will be nice to have more unconventional storys on VJ like yours. It would help people that have a little more challenging processes to know they have hope.

I regret that I don't have any news from my case.

It seems that my AOS is stuck for some kind of reason.

I don't even have an interview date.

Ok my AP is approved. But I can't afford to go any places anyway :(

I regret that I don't have any news from my case.

It seems that my AOS is stuck for some kind of reason.

I don't even have an interview date.

Ok my AP is approved. But I can't afford to go any places anyway :(

But congrats to all there are so lucky these days (F)(F)

First of all CONGRATS to everyone geting approvals!!! :dance::thumbs:

We were touched again today but the status was not updated.

I realize I am probably getting way ahead of myself but WHEN can he start looking for and applying for jobs? When we get an email notification that the GC has been ordered then is it safe for him to start looking/applying?

Now that was some uplifting exciting news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:
