Congrats celikkanat on your biometrics appointment... my understanding is that, not necesarily your wife. as long as there's someone who can bring you there and can assist you if you need someone to complete your worksheet. pls read at the bottom of your appointment letter. hope it helps

Pugnacious, did you use Express mail? If so, you can check it thru the usps website if they already got your papers... goodluck.

Hello all!

We'd like to be added to the list of June filers! We're already sort of off the beaten path already... We moved after filing, and our NOA's (and likely biometrics appointment info) never made it to us and were returned to USCIS as undeliverable last week.

Anyway, here's where we stand now (which is also in my signature):

Filed 5/18

Received 5/21

NOA1 6/1 (only for I-130; still haven't received NOA for AP/AOS/EAD)

Hopefully this will get cleared up soon!

How would i know that USCIS already receive my AOS and EAD application??

We mailed our aos and EAD on May 16th, but was surprised when the whole package was returned 3 weeks later with a letter stating that the chicago office does not handle employment based adjustment. Everything in the package we submitted and the checklist clearly indicated that this is a family based adjustment of status. I called the 1-800 # and the representative told me that we need to mail the EAD with to another office not to the Chicago lockbox. I've read other people's experience on this forum, and most people put together the I-485 and EAD application together and mail it to the Chicago lockbox, even the form states that. We have sent out the package again, and we are anxiously waiting to see what happens next. This is so weird, just when we thought the hardest part of this journey will be the K-1 visa process, now we are going thru this. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I am sorry to hear that your case is delayed because of this.

You have to send your EAD to another office.

In my case it is a local office in California where I live.

My AOS is in Chicago.

Ok hubby's EAD update - they received it june 10th, the date on the NAO1 is june 13th now we wait for biometrics
