So AFTER all of our troubles the last few days...

I got an email that said the EAD was approved an production ordered... ok... I am not going to question...I am just going to go with it

nope no news yet on AOS, I wish but hey I am happy with the EAD at least he can go get a job...no more complaining of how he has to stay home...oh the torture!!

Staying home though does suck. I can understand where your husband is coming from.

Latest update from USCIS website received yesterday:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

so frustrating!! I sent my RFE and got a delivery confirmation from the post office on July 27th but since then nothing, no changes, transfer notices, or any touches on my AOS petition, and my case number for EAD hasn't even been entered yet so I can't check the status online!!!

I called USCIS and a very nice, but useless, lady told me they have a backlog on updating the case status section and i should just keep checking, but I think if they provide that option as part of their customer service, we should be allowed to demand that our cases are in and updated, instead of just hoping they are.

I have a super cool job lined up and my prospective employer waiting, and it kills me not even being able to check how things are going!! sorry, i had to vent. aaahgggh

Strange... I received another LUD and email for my I-765 saying the same thing "card production ordered". I had gotten an identical email and LUD on 8 Aug. Wonder why the duplicate LUD.... hmmm. Just hope and pray that I get the EAD soon...

This may give you a little insight as to what's going on with the USCIS and receipt notices. As predicted they were flooded with applications near the fee change deadline on July 30.

We received an RFE for the EAD last week. We sent it in certified USPS the next day, and now it appears as if the USPS might have lost our mail. It's been a week and still hasn't been delivered.

If you're keeping count, this is the 4th thing that the USPS had a problem either delivering to us or from us.

We had the same experience. It took them 18 days to recieve our mail. And it's only a few miles from were we live. We contacted USPS and was told it could take up to 30 days.

Congrats!!!! You are one of the first June filers to be approved AP without emergency status. This gives me hope that they are finally starting process the June folks
