you should fill out your timeline, because we don't know much about your case. are you on a k1/k3 visa? k1/k3 visas may tend to move quicker than others such as adjustment of status from h-1bs, f-1s, b-2s, etc. and since the whole process of moving cases forward is so recalcitrant, we can't understand why some are moving and some aren't. this is where all our patience is tested.

hey guys i got an RFE today. im so pissed off its for a copy of my fathers birth certificate and ssc for his joint sponsorship. interestingly enough, they dont ask ANYWHERE on the forms for these documents. it infuriates me that they can just do what they want when they want. it states on the RFE that my husband wont be elligable for his EAD until 90DAYS after the RFE and documents are returned. #######?! are they punishing us for not turning in the documents they never asked for?! i just want to cry. its so frustrating, everything had been moving along so quickly and now im sure its just gonna drag for months and months. it figures, just my luck.

My husband had his biometrics yesterday, it went smoothly and was done quickly. Now I'm in the obsessive compulsive checking-for-USCIS-touches mode!

It's ok, don't worry too much, mine wasn't touched not until they got my rfe and then next was already the transfer letter, it will come at the least you expected it.

Hi latoslatos, yes,I'll fill out my timeline. I'm currently on F-1 OPT, so maybe you're right, it's takes a wee bit longer than the K1/K3 visa type cases. Thank you for that little nugget of information. Appreciate it

I understand the feeling I'm an entire month behind myself. My package was sitting in my post office for 5 weeks. I was orginigally supposed to be a May filer, but when I found out that my forms still hadn't even left my vicinity I switched over to the june filers. I was so disappointed and frustrated at first, but then I looked at it in a different light--maybe it was meant to be that way for a purpose. I am not saying that this is going to work for you too, but it helps. This process does get to me at times, especially when I'm sitting here on a daily basis and impatiently checking the USCIS website for updates that do not even show. When I feel discouraged, I check on this website and see everyone else's updates and that's what keeps me going. This website means alot to me... So be encouraged as this time of waiting is purposeful and worthwhile. B)

At least I can see that there are interviews coming up now.

I just wondered if it takes the same amount of days when I refile my EAD.

I mean that now they have already looked at it.

Worst with this refile is that workpermit for me is a very big need now for us moneywise
