So the update for my husband is NOA1 July 3, 2007 for AOS, EAD and AP - does that mean that I need to leave the June filers? :(

Yes...hope something good comes this week. I noticed that most applicants receive their interview letters within one month of biometrics completion. I'm on day 18 today. And you're on day 12. Hope the letters come soon. Transfer or Interview - either letter is most welcome! :)

Wait, quick edit here. I don't see that you have a proper timeline on the left. Please fill it out when you get a chance. Also, it appears, according to your signature, you didn't get an NOA for the 485. Perhaps this is what is causing the delay. Did you send in a 485?

We all empathize, and that's why we're all here! To help each other out. Did you send in a I-485 with your packet? You didn't mention it in your signature. Also, it would be good to create a timeline of your case using the VJ timeline function! :) Helps a lot.

OK, now I am really confused. B)

We received our NOA1 for AOS/EAD on June 4th. We have been patiently waiting for our letter scheduling our biometrics appointment. I was getting really worried that the letter was lost in the mail, because looking at everyone's timelines, it seems like the biometrics appointment comes anywhere from 2 weeks to 5 weeks after the NOA1 letter. In fact, I was so nervous, I scheduled an InfoPass appointment for next Friday, July 13th, to see if we had a biometrics appointment date (perhaps showing in the computer but just one that we never received the appointment letter).

Then I got a USCIS letter in the mail today. I thought, 'Great, we finally have our biometrics appointment letter." But, it turned out to be a letter scheduling our interview! :P:thumbs:

So, now we know our interview date is August 21st, but we still have not had our biometrics appointment yet! :blink:

I guess I will keep our InfoPass appointment for next week, just to ask if we need to go to biometrics before our interview. :yes:

Anyway, please update our timeline with our Interview Date: August 21st. :P

WOOHOO!!!!! Got the Biometrics appt in the mail today!! Its for July 21st. The craptastic thing is, i work at Borders. Harry Potter comes out the 21st. So I will be working till like 2am the night before the appt and I've gotta drive all the way to Atlanta! *GULP* Guess I will be pulling an all-nighter! LOL

Our Timeline:

06/19/07: AOS/EAD packet finally off in the mail!

06/21/07: Package arrived in Chicago (Day 1)

06/27/07: NOA1 recieved for I-130 and EAD and I-485 (Day 6)

06/30/07: I-130 and EAD and I-485 *touched* (Day 9)

07/12/07: RFE for proof of joint sponsor's citizenship (Day 21)

07/21/07: Biometrics Appointment in Atlanta (Day 31)

07/23/07: Returned RFE with wanted documents arrives in Missouri (Day 33)

07/25/07: I-485 *touched* (Day 35)

09/06/07: EAD Card Production Ordered (Day 77)

09/12/07: EAD Card recieved in the mail!!! (Day 83)

09/18/07: Interview in Atlanta!!!!!!!!! (Day 89) APPROVED PENDING NAMECHECK!!!!

11/09/07: Card production ordered!!!

11/20/07: Greencard received!!!!!!!!

08/15/09: I-751 package mailed!

08/17/09: Package delivered to VSC.

08/18/09: NOA 1 Extension Letter!! (received 08/24/09)

08/20/09: Check cashed!!

09/29/09: Biometrics in ATL!
