I check my case online and found out that my husband's EAD was touched last friday...I guess someone used our application as a coffee coaster on that day :devil: ... Kidding aside, Is it normal to get an activity prior to biometrics? Could it be a RFE ?? Not really panicking,just curious since we haven't had our biometrics yet.

We also got a touch on his EAD without biometrics info, we just recieved his NOA1 dated the 26th and were touched on the 30th. I added the cases to my portfolio yesterday so that's not it. Maybe it was the day that online access to the cases was made possible. I believe if it's a RFE the message when you click on the case changes to say they sent one, but I'm not sure as we never got one (and hopefully never will).

XueRu's NOA got here last Thursday (June 28th) and everyting else showed up today Monday (July 2) Had me kind of worried as to why .......but seems like they had and extra Postmark from Orlando, Florida on the way to Louisiana! Oh well!!!! At least they are here now...that's the good news.

BTW/ The Receipt #'s on the cashed checks were not the same as the ones on the NOA's when they showed up as has been mentioned on some of the other posts. They were each about 2 or 3 digits different. Don't understand this one?

Hello all! I mailed Luz and Robins AOS forms on June 23. The Chicago lock box got it on June 25. So far the checks haven't been cashed and I haven't gotten the NOA1's yet.

I sent my paperwork last June 21 and they received on June 22 until I don't have a NOA1, I checked the rest of the timeline they received after 5 or 6 days. I just worried now :( I live here Florida I checked everyday my mail box but is waiting I hope soon.

I have finally receievd my NOA!!! :energetic: What a relief... ufffff.... I have been waiting for it since June 18! However, it's only NOA for I-485 and my package also included the application for EAD. Hopefully, my second NOA will be here soon. Now I have another question to you, guys: I wanted to check my case status online but when I entered my receipt number it was not valid. Could you tell me how soon I can start checking my case online?

Great website there. Very nice to see your journey through all these years. You should be getting your NOA1 in the mail soon. The average is 7 days, but could be longer (unlikely). Here's hoping for a CSC transfer to you two!

LdayN, usually, one can check the status online the next day (which was in my case). Rest assured, you'll be able to check it. :)

Lina, from the day Chicago gets your package, it averages about 3-days for them to process the NOA, *THEN, send it out in the mail. Just give it a few more days, and I am certain it will come. I know how nerve wracking it is waiting for it. I was in the same boat. :S

08/27/07: Interview (Day 85) approved, but had to resubmit the birthcertificate

09/26/07: birth certificate is submitted, passport stamped. Receive "card production ordered email"

10/04/07: "Welcome U.S.A." letter received.

10/10/07: Green Card received. (Day 129)
