They cashed my checks. :) I see the 13 digit number on the back of each check but I'm getting an error when I try to put it into my USCIS case status portfolio... I double checked it and I'm typing it in right... I guess it's not in the system yet? Or am I looking on the wrong website? https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

The numbers on the checks might not be the right ones (mine weren't... the numbers on the checks were very clear but turned out not to be the ones on my NOAs - those were a bit further along in the sequence, basically... numbers on checks were MSCxxxxxxxx56, 57 & 58, the numbers on the NOAs are MSCxxxxxxxx59, 62 & 63) but whether they are or not, it can take a few days for the receipt numbers to bring anything up in the system - seems like lots of people have that trouble. I managed to get a nice man at USCIS to confirm my receipt numbers for me before I actually got the NOAs, but they didn't start 'working' on the system until the day the NOAs arrived, if I remember right.... so yup, I think they're just slow at updating everything in the system. Just like they're slow at everything else! :)

Your file can be 'touched' for any reason, it doesn't necessarily mean anything (as people are always joking on here, it could just mean that someone's spilled their coffee on the file - basically anytime anyone picks it up or is working on it, they scan the barcode, which results in a 'touch'), and unless there is an actual update in your case status, you won't get an email. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I can tell that on this website I ordered to send them an email when they touch my case. But they don't send me anything even when it's touch

They don't send out emails to notify you of "just" a touch. Also, you won't learn about your biometrics appointment or interview via email. Those notices will just show up in the mail. The only times you get an email is when they sent you an RFE or approved your case.

Hey, add us to the list of June filers. Rhonda and Nicolas mailed off their AOS/EAD & AP documents yesterday, June 28, 2007! I told the postal worker that I felt I was sending our "baby" off. What a lot of papers that we mailed off again.

Hey everyone! I got my biometrics taken care of today. My hubby drove me to my application support center at 7:30 and my appointment was not until 9:00. I thought so what am I going to do for a hour and a half!!! Well it turned out that everyone who went there before me was right. There was already a line in front of the building when I arrived!!!! I went into the building about the 9th person and I was shocked at how quickly the place became packed by 8:00 am. I was seen shortly after and after my 20 min. bus ride home made it home at 8:40! I was so happy :dance: !!!!!! Now I wait with relief for an interview and my EAD card. Once again good luck to everyone here! :thumbs: This forum has been so beneficial to me. Thanks everyone for all the updates, they are so encouraging. :star: We will all get throught this process sooner than later.

Sorry. I am responding so late. No. I did signature confirmation ( which I later realized was wrong). The post office

guy told me it was okay too. To cut a long story short. That package was returned accompanied with a letter that I was filing out of jurisdiction. I mailed out the same package again to the same Chicago lockbox ( this time with express mail). It was received, and my husband just had his biometrics today.

How would i know that USCIS already receive my AOS and EAD application??:)

Did you send it with delivery confirmation?
