I have a question - if the AOS & EAD were submitted at the same time, and we get an RFE for the AOS, will the EAD still move forward, or are they both put on hold?

On June 25, 2007, we transferred this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

The EAD continues to be processed, but the AOS is put on hold.

The above makes sense, however we had an RFE for W2 etc (previously sent) and our Aos was completed in record time.

The AP and EAD have not been touched since 5/9 and 6/10 respectively.

We got out Biometrics (AOS and EAD) letter today ! ...Our appointment is on July 13th at 11AM at the Alexandria branch in VA .Biometrics letter was dated June 20, 2007.

I too received my biometrics letter in the mail: July 13, 2007 (Friday the 13th, gulp*) at 2:00 P.M.

Now, my only mission is to figure out *how to get to the ASC in Alexandria! We don't have a car yet and hope that the Metro has a stop close by.

Got an RFE this morning dated June 19, asking for the page 3 of form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) it says missing, but my copies here are complete we'll mail it tom

It sucks they lost the 3 page anyway at least you have a copy and send to them again so better to keep all the papers that we will send to the USCIS.

yes lina it's good we retained copies of all our papers we submit.

An RFE is a request for further evidence (seems pretty common with AOS to receive an RFE for evidence you've already submitted, especially tax transcripts etc), and the I-131 is the application form for Advance Parole.
