Just got back from Manila, and had a great time. When I got back, my greencard was in the mail. It was May 20! Hope everyone (who still checks here) is great.

Dad is doing VERY well, and his surgery was a complete success. He just has to take it easy, since he's on immunosuppresive therapy now, and can't really do as much as he once did. BUT, we have him here, and that's the most important.

I was really shocked (positively) at the progress going on in Manila. My wife and I commented that we felt we were in like some mall in California the whole time. It is not the gritty Manila I once knew. It's become much more gentrified, and fancy! We ate like pigs, and had the best mangoes, ever. How are you doing, Ana?

I am not so familiar with manila, since i am from davao, been only there 4x but the most was for my medical, interview and going here... i am glad you and your wife enjoyed alot... yes we got the best mango and pine apple there, you should have her tried the pineapple it's yummy hehehe... I am doing great here, thanks God... we are trying to concieve but unfortunately, wala pa hehehe but we're waiting, in HIS time. Amen!

Ah you are from Davao! Galing. I went to Sarangani province and went everywhere. It was great. I love the pina there too. I have not been to Davao yet, but my brother goes there all the time from GenSan and Sarangani!

Yes i am a davaoeña hehehe as in born and raised in davao. sarangai province is like 3 or 4 hrs drive (not sure) from davao, been to gensan before it is nice there, and yummy piña hehehe... you should have gone to davao too well, there's always next time

It is easy to speak bisaya, take it from me hahahaha kidding... don't mind to speak bisaya ky dli gamit diri hehehehe (hope you understand )

All fine over here! We're happy and hubby is adjusting great. Hubby is still trying to perfect his English enough to get a "real" job. He has an accounting degree but still works as a gas station cashier for minimum wage.

Good of you guys to respond! And salamat Yazi and Roy for the kudos. Eileen, I hear you and feel your pain! I'm certain he'll improve. I also thought of Ana the other day, because I think we were spoiled well by her. The way she kept up 1-year tracking all of our cases, and inputting the data all on her own with such good dedication. I look at the other AOS lists, and the lists are just horrendously messy.

Ana, wherever you are, hope all is well! And thanks for all that hard work.
