Got an RFE this morning dated June 19, asking for the page 3 of form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) it says missing, but my copies here are complete we'll mail it tom

I'm coming in to join the June crew. My Dad has been dying from cancer and just passed away Sunday. It's been so hectic these last few weeks... yesterday was my husband's "3-months in the country" mark, we mailed out the packet Wednesday night by Fedex and it was recieved in Chicago yesterday morning. I'm not normally a last minute kinda person on things like this but my family took most of our time. We filed for AOS, EAD, and AP all together.

It sucks they lost the 3 page anyway at least you have a copy and send to them again so better to keep all the papers that we will send to the USCIS.

As for our packet, I'm still waiting for our biometrics appointment letter to arrive.. I know that there's no defitnite timeline for it and it's a case to case basis, but I'll ask it still...How long do you guys think is the average waiting time between the NOA letter and receiving the biometrics appointment letter?

Hiya. That's awfully strange you know. There is another filer on VJ who got an RFE for exactly the same thing. It gives the impression that USCIS selectively misplaces page 3 of the 864. I guess in the abstract of it all, USCIS processes hundreds, maybe thousands of files a day and misplacing pages now and then isn't an unreasonable concept. But still, annoying to people like us who need to deal with RFEs. :S

How long do you guys think is the average waiting time between the NOA letter and receiving the biometrics appointment letter?

Kamusta, Kayz. Based on the data provided on this thread, I personally cannot find the average day's wait from NOA1 letter received and receipt of the biometrics letter since the data only shows the date of the biometrics appointment itself. However, from the same data, the trend appears to be 3-weeks to 1-month from NOA1 leading up to the biometrics appointment.

Thanks. I happy I know know the procesing has started on the applications. with the time it took to get the visa interview in Manila, I should have been used to waiting by now.
