Did you call them or something that is so weird my gosh :(

Nope. My RFE was asking for income evidence for a name I’ve never heard on in my life.

Update on my EAD - I had an employment offer and submitted a request to expedite my process on 10/2. Two days later (10/4) I got a notification requesting to fax supporting evidence for my case. On 10/11 my status changed to “expedite request approved” and today my status is “card/document production”.

I’m sharing this because I was hesitant to request to expedite my EAD. However, based on other comments here, it seems like requests like this are approved when they are supported by an employment offer and a solid cover letter detailing how not taking a job results on a severe financial loss.

Good luck everyone and I really hope we start seeing EADs getting approved!

Hi!

What fax number did you sent the documents? I have raised an expedited request and trying to send the documents to the fax number the USCIS provided but it just doesn't go. It always shows failed delivery. I called them and they said its the correct fax number.

Hi,

We placed an expedited request for work authorization and have been asked by USCIS to fax documents to support our request.

They gave us a fax number in the email and we tried to send the documents to the given fax number; however, every time it gives a failed message. We tried multiple times.

Wanted to know the USCIS fax number from ppl who had placed an expedited request and successfully sent their documents via fax.

Thanks

I included my signed employment offer, credit card statements, mortgage among other similar documents. My cover letter was very detailed (it was a page long) and I explained how my spouse’s income help to barely cover our expenses (which was supported by credit card statements, paystubs), and potentially losing this job would result on a severe financial loss of the income I would receive. Hope that helps!

I’m sorry! I can’t find the notification with the number where I faxed the documents. I would call to USCIS and ask for another number or report the issue.

That's amazing! My letter hasn't arrived yet, feeling very anxious checking informed delivery every morning. Hoping my letter comes in soon. I'll let you know when I have my interview scheduled when I do!
