Seems like a generic answer from the call center? Did they seem to confirm your name and details and other specifics?

When I mailed four different I-130 packages back in January 2018, the credit card was charged within 2 business days. 7 business days after card charge I didn't receive case numbers by email/text ### requested in the G1145 but when I called they were able to provide all 4 case numbers.

All datapoints I've seen is a very fast charge to the credit card

It was a person, but yes the 30 day lead time is something they are told to tell everybody. He asked me for phone number and email address only to register the call, and all he said was no receipt #s yet, my package and check was received May 31st. Hope fully I will get notifications pretty soon. And yes next time I will pay with credit card, thought that a check was better but it is not :)

Thanks for the info. My wife signed the 129f and our marriage certificate in Thai. I suggested maybe she will sign in thai and english on documents from now on.

We just applied for her social security card. it will get in a few weeks we hope. we elected to wait until after we married to apply for her ssn. although, her arrival is not yet updated in SAVE. the social security office worker did all are paper work and stated she will check periodically to see when SAVE updates, then submit our paperwork.

We just need to make sure all our paperwork is correct and we will send it in...

Does anyone know if its better to wait to get the ssn before submitting the AOS paperwork, or just send the AOS and don't worry about the ssn for now?

I called this morning 2 hours after confirming that the package was received, the guy told  me that there are not receipt #s yet and of course he said there is a 30 day lead time, but he assured me that the documents were going to be put together with my original submission, and I think that might trigger the creation of my receipts and notifications, cross your fingers :)  thank you for responding! it helps a lot !

Mine are crossed for you! Keep us posted!

Thanks for sharing your experience Matt. Was yours a credit card or a check payment?

Credit card, so same as you. But I believe @Ryanmaria2018 had said they used a money order. And for I-129f I used credit card as well and it was charged almost immediately. So I don't think payment type matters. I just chalk it up to incompetence :)

Incompetence is the right word or they are really short on USCIS workers. Yeah yeah I know it's summer and vacations I get it. Hope you guys are doing okay there and hope for some updates soon!!

My wife is a K-1 recipient, and I know the DS-3025 needs to be turned in.  Do I still have to fill out the I-693 form, as well?

I believe it depends on how the DS-3025 was filled out by the doctor. If it is checked off as "Visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccination requirements" then you should be good. If it's anything else they may require you to get them transferred into a 693. You can submit it this way anyway and if later they need it they will request it in an rfe.

Again, thank you!  Those words you quoted in your text were indeed on her DS-3025, so I'm taking that for a good sign!  We're sending her application off today, as soon as I get the employment verification letter from my principal later this morning.  I can't wait to get this thing away!  I appreciate all the help from everyone here!
