Got the interview notice! The interview is scheduled for October 10th. I'm still paranoid that it's a fluke 😖

Hopefully, all the cases go on smoothly!

Hi! Congratulations!! Did you receive any updates online or just got a paper letter?

I filed a bit later than you, so I’m wondering if I’m close too. My status now is fingerprints review was completed. So I’m just curious if the status has to change online first before getting an interview notice.

I filed for AOS on June 17th and fingerprint was completed on July 9th. I just checked my status online and it still says finger print review was completed. Hope to get an update soon...

Our biometrics was on July 9th, too. Our status is the same as yours. I hope we both get updates soon.

After the "We completed our review of your fingerprints" I got the status "Interview was scheduled" but usually there's a status "Interview is ready to be scheduled" in between - that's why I'm freaking out.

I got both email and text for status change.

Science is not a liberal conspiracy.

Hard to tell.  🤷‍♀️

We had our biometrics done in Healiah and have our upcomming interview in Kendall. Both are the closest.

I have to say the waiting game is starting to affect me! I’ve always been very busy with work and studying and now not being able to do that, it’s really hard. While I understand that my waiting time is still very short compared to others, it really feels like the time is dragging on and for now I haven’t seen too much evidence of the shorter EAD times happening yet. I haven’t even been able to apply for an ID with my new last time, as I can’t change it with social security until I have either the EAD or GC. Sigh!  Let’s keep waiting.

I'm so happy to find this thread. I actually got my NOA of I-485 on May 31, but it was very quiet on May 2019 thread 🙃

I am both feeling happy and nervous. Congratulations to those who have scheduled their interviews! Please update here how it will be going!

Also, some people got the same RFE about birth certificate. I wonder why many of use get the same RFE even though we have sent the right one.

I received RFE about birth certificate,  even though I've sent the copy of my original bilingual (Indonesian-English) birth certificate. I replied the RFE by sending them the same document and I also sent an original translation by sworn translator. They updated the status, on Aug 13 they have received my RFE response and saying they're currently working on my case again.

For those who got RFE, have you had any updates or responses from USCIS about your RFE? How long do you get your interview notice after they received your reply of RFE?

I feel you, I feel the same. There is only so much Netflix you can watch. Recently, I've started doing some courses on Udemy to kill time. But each and every day feels soooooooooooooo long. Hopefully it will get over soon.

Guys, what about seeing places and exploring, travelling? What about books, online courses, museums, parks, home workouts, going to the gym, parks, going for a walk?

Dont you have any hobbies? Gardening, plants, I don’t know, but there are things to enjoy in this life for some period of time to avoid getting depressed or bored.

You don’t have to be going to school or college to study something. You can volunteer at the church, help people or learn a new language in the meantime..

For me it’s not so much about not having things to do, I’ve got plenty of activities to fill my day and since I’ve lived here for 3 years already (on F1 before AOS) I have an established circle of friends and know my way around. It’s more about not being able to do certain things and not having that control of your life - such as the aforementioned inability to update my ID or apply for jobs on a very serious note since there’s no guarantee when I’ll have the card in my hand.
