Unfortunately, it's quite possible for a case to sit on "ready to be scheduled" for quite a while if your field office is rather backlogged; your interview will only be coming soon when the status changes to "interview was scheduled".

That’s true but I’m kind of relieved knowing that USCIS is showing some progress on my case. :)

I'd almost be happy to receive an RFE 😂 At least then I'd know someone was looking at our file. We've been sitting on "fingerprint fee was received" since June 18th (I know, not unusual but still!).

Mine was “fingerprint fee was received” for awhile. Let’s wait a little bit longer for updates!

And yeah.. I would appreciate for any news from USCIS too 😛

I just received an email too saying ready to be scheduled. Let’s see how long it takes for the next move. I’d definitely want my EAD before that as social security won’t let me change my last name before that, hence all my IDs, bank accounts etc are in my maiden name as well as we are yet to add me to the rent lease for the same reason.

Has anyone else ran into issues with the USCIS myaccount pages? Whenever I try to use that to check my case statuses I receive a 500 error

1,647 pending in Montgomery, though I have heard that Montgomery also gets cases from Atlanta to help with their backlog. Might be good for you @AFA

That would be good. We'll have to see. Once they transfer do they send a letter to inform?

not really, sometimes it gives me a white page with only one word "my cases" ... when that happens I close it and reopen 20 min later :) I guess the server gets crowded
