Thanks 😊 unfortunately I don't have a drivers license of any kind - never had a car before!! So I have to wait so I can get a learners permit and do drivers ed and eventually get a license!! 😂

Ohhh I'm sorry, I know it can be hard to do anything without a car here in Oklahoma! Well, the good thing is that the appointments for the green card interview seem to be coming pretty quickly at our local office.

Have any early June filers heard from their EAD yet? From what I’ve seen, quite a few May filers have got theirs already so hopefully it’ll be our turn soon! My NOA was dated June 17th

There are also quite a few May filers who haven't even had their biometrics appointment yet. This whole thing is such a crapshoot....

Finally done...

The lack of consistency really is absurd. Hope for the best and expect the worst when it comes to USCIS.

Exactly! A friend of mine had her EAD approved but then USPS “lost it” for over a month and no one, neither USPS or USCIS took responsibility for it. One day, over a month later it just suddenly appeared in the mailbox.

She also just had her interview couple of weeks ago, the officer didn’t approve it on the spot but said they’ll review her papers and she should get approved within a week. Well, she hasn’t and she called them and the agent on the phone didn’t even know what to say but said they’ll open an investigation.

I really hope the rest of my process is smoother than that!

I did mine on the same day, had an appointment though. My status never changed on the case tracker from the fee received, but when I made an account with https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ it said that fingerprint review completed on the 12th already.

From what I’ve understood with my case and others, the tracker says whatever it pleases and is not very reliable.

Sometimes it's not updated until it's ready for interview. Some people get an update and others don't.

Interesting lol , yeah I've given up with the tracker haha! I go by my account on the USCIS page.. still hasn't updated on that which I am not sure if I should be concerned or not 😓

Mine hasn't been updated too lol. I guess it's not a big of deal.

I have a friend who will have an interview and her process only takes 4 months.

Just hoping USCIS is speeding up AOS cases
