Many April fliers received RFE for birth certificate (even they said it was sent with the package), so I don’t think it has anything with the proof of your relationship. At least they’re working on your case!

What’s your NOA1 date by the way?

Honestly I would not be surprise if I receive RFE as well (hope sooner than later).

thanks for your support, i feel a relief now, my NOA1 is June 18th

For those AOS filers who have been wondering why there’s no status change on the case tracker after biometrics (like myself who has been stressing about it for 2 weeks) - make an actual account on the USCIS website and add your cases there. Mine shows that my review was in fact completed the day after the fingerprint appointment!

It will still vary from person to person. I have checked both USCIS sites and I have the case tracker. Nothing has changed since our biometrics appointment.

Of course! Each case is unique, but it’s worth checking both sources first before worrying too much and/or contacting them.

I did my biometrics today in Seattle. It was super quick. I was in and out in probably 15 mins. Now the long wait...! :D

hi everyone,

what is next after doing biometrics? my wife has done biometrics for her aos and ead, but not advance parole.

thanks!

It was biometrics for all of those, for some reason on the invitation letter they just write forms I-485 and i-765 (probably because ead comes together with ap, correct me if I’m wrong :) ).

The next step is either “your interview is ready to be scheduled” and “interview was scheduled” after. It also can be RFIE if they need you to send something :)

That depends on your local and even within local offices it can vary quite a lot. People have gotten interviews as fast as 4 months and others have taken well over a year.

Nothing yet, I am a little anxious because the mail just came today and there is nothing from USCIS. I think that RFEs should be sent by email as well, because for example my NOA letter's were never received, I don't know if the post office lost them, and now if the RFE letter doesn't show up what am I suppose to do?  :( frustrating
