Yes you can file EAD/AP at no extra cost. Remember to treat them like separate applications in terms of submitting the required documents for each. You might find yourself submitting stuff you've already submitted (e.g. i-94),  but that's good (processed at different centers).

Should I be concerned that our case(s) have not updated to reflect that my husband completed his biometrics? It seems like most people here had their status update in 24-72 hours...

In other threads I saw that not everyone is getting biometrics update. Maybe you can call to uscis just to confirm that it was completed?

I don't think so.. we haven't received an update either. Ours shows "Fingerprint Fee Received" since before we even got our Biometrics letter. I wonder if it's the Local Office that updates them and that's why there are different results in time lapse.

Am in the same ⛵ I did my bio Last June 25 and my status doesn't change yet. Only just wait.

Same here it's still "Fingerprint Fee Received".  I have a feeling tho based on my observation that, people who walked-in early for biometrics don't have a real-time status change compared to those people who really follow their Biometrics schedule.

Hey anyone still waiting for their NOA1..? 

Ive been waiting since June 22 and nothing still. Should I be very worried, refile? 

USCIS never came back to me either through lockbox support or phone inquiry. I’m freaking out because i94 is gonna expire soon as well. This system is just full of frustration even though you do everything by the book :( what if they really lost our case :(

If you don't get it by Monday next week, I would call them and put in a service request.

 

Edit: You can call them now and just ask for your case numbers if you haven't already.

It could be the case. I wonder if calling and asking to see if the Biometrics were well received would do any difference. At least for peace of mind.

I think it will. As I said I read other members called and asked to confirm whether biometrics were received

I'm glad to see that it seems pretty normal for it not to change. We didn't walk-in early though, so I don't think that's related to it.

Husband just got done with biometrics in Portland, OR. Appointment was at 2:00, he showed up ten minutes early and was out before 2. Easy peezy. Now to obsessively check the case status 6 times per hour every day for all eternity 😂

My biometric status just got updated! To fingerprint review was completed! The case tracker app automatically showed a notification
