Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

You can also try showing up before you appointed date with the biometrics letter (once you get it) and request a walk in visit that day, depending on when in July your trip is and your appt is. Some ASC will allow this.

Finally my and my daughter's biometric letters are in my hand :) it says july 11 at 10 Am 

Seattle office  :)

i hope the office is open on saturday so tht v can go early walkin  thr  before the actual date

I would try to make it if at all possible. Hopefully, you will be ok. Hard to say, but it is a bit like the musical chairs game. Everything is fine, until the music stops and you are the only one left standing, without a chair (appointment in this case). The ASC scheduling minions only have so many time slots available, when they are booked, you go into the next batch...maybe there will be room in that batch, may not.

Did you go there to confirm or is this off the field office section of the USCIS website? My field office doesn't offer walk ins or infopass appointments but we were able to do biometrics as a walk in at their designated ASC.

If your ASC isn't too far from you, I'd suggest visiting and trying the walk in if you're needing to do them sooner. I think the guide on the website is more for the field office and not ASC. We showed up at the field office first accidentally and we couldn't even get past security without them verifying your appt letter. They were the ones that told us we were at the wrong location and sent us to the ASC.

 

Edit: Our field office and ASC are straight across town from each other and seem to function separately.

I dont really know how to attach my timeline to my signature. Anyways, I am so happy because my package was received on 05/31, and I thought USCIS had forgotten about me and they cashed the check until 06/19, I got my case #s on 06/22, I have not received any NOAs, but hey I got my BIOMETRICS appointment for 07/08 today which works great because I am off for 4th of July week to camping, so God is good and his timing is perfect :)

Visa issued: 04/04/2019

POE: 04/04/2019 (El Paso, TX)
