One thing is certain there is no consistency on timings in this round of the process.

Yup, my noa1 date is 6/12 and I see people getting bio appointment letters with noa dates after mine. However there's nothing I can do but wait :)

Very true! There's a good chunk of people from early May also that are still waiting on Biometrics. I'm not entirely sure why the dates on this are so uneven.

I just got a mail from USCIS with  biometric appointment date which is July 3rd.

USCIS received my AOS packet on June 5th and cashed out on June 10th.

Then, they sent my biometrics appointment notification on June 14th.

I still haven't gotten NOA1 letter for my advance parole in hard copy but got my case number on USCIS website.

Even though I submitted G-1145 for all three applications, never got text messages or email notification so far.

Hopefully everybody can get good news soon!

Hi there,

just got my invite for biometrics :)

Hi guys,

So happy to see the biometrics invites are coming in!

Can you let us know if the biometrics appointment letter was sent from your local ASC or from the National Benefit Center in Lee Summit, MO? My local ASC is in York, PA and I am trying to get a rough idea how long the mailing process will be.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm sending out my AOS packet in a couple of days, I'm using the new I-131 form to avoid any RFE or Denial, could anyone tell me what's the difference between the old one and the new one, if any? I can't seem to find the old one now.

I noticed that the new I-131 says under Part 7 - "On a separate sheet of paper, explain how you quality for an Advance Parole Document, and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole. Include copies of any document you wish considered". Was this on the previous I-131 as well? Do I need to provide anything for this?

Thank you!

That was on the old AP form as well. It was my understanding that we do not have to provide additional documentation, because you're adjusting status (and EAD/AP are done as a combo card).

This thread may help clear it up.
