anyway, for those who had the interview as well did you guys found out if you guys were approved after the interview?

We were approved at the end of the interview and it took a little over a week to get the card.  It didn’t show up in the system until after we got the card though so you’ll be a bit in the dark until the notice that you were approved comes in 3-5 days. (If you were approved at the end of the interview/the same day)

hi everyone,

my wife just finished her interview today (atlanta office). i am surprised the interviewer just asked her questions and not me. anyway, for those who had the interview as well did you guys found out if you guys were approved after the interview? because the interviewer told us wait until the end of the day or we will received something in the mail within a week.

thanks!

Were there other people getting interviewed as well? Was your interview cancelled? I am also going through Atlanta office. Had my interview cancelled in March no word yet. Wondering how they are scheduling interviews.

Yes our interview back in April was cancelled, but we called USCIS back in October to follow up on our status and they rescheduled us last month.

Finally had my initial interview scheduled. Any tips?

Just know the basic stuffs like when you got married, your family info. Most of the questions she asked my wife was the questions on the 485 form actually those YES and NO questions. so don't worry about it.

Awesome, appreciate it. Hard still not to be nervous though.

My husband and I spent the night before the interview reminiscing about our whole relationship asking questions we found online back and forth.  It was a good way to relax too.  Good luck!

Anyone still waiting for their interview? I'm located in Seattle.

With the delays caused by Covid, I don't expect my interview to be scheduled until late next year.

We're still waiting (Seattle as well)

I saw another VJ user from Seattle updated their timeline recently for an interview next month, but they submitted their I 485 like 24-25 months ago.   So we probably have another 6-7 months to go.

We’ve had no updates from the fingerprints step. Bumper!
