Just got approved my AOS last Friday!
it took a year and was rough road but I got it!

I had my interview last December but got a NOID letter in March. Hired a lawyer ( he did an amazing job and so helpful!) and sent our waiver package in early June. A month later USCIS approved my case!

This COVID 19 makes everything difficult and confusing but I hope you guys will hear good news soon and wish you the best!

Hi guys , we just got back from our AOS marriage based interview at the LA office. We arrived at 9 but checked in at 10:15 for our 10:30 interview and didn’t get called in until after 1 pm! Today was the first day of interviews at this center, according to the officer we got. My spouse and I went in one at time with the officer because that was how they were doing things for everyone at the moment. We got approved after about 15 mins for each of us. Questions she asked:

When did we meet.
How did we meet.
When he proposed.
How many times I went to visit him in his country.
Does he get along with my ex.
When and where we got married.
How many people lived in our house.
Do our parents approved.
Where we worked. What we did for work.
Very basic stuff we should all know.

Thanks for everyone’s support, and good luck to everyone on their journey.

Congrats!!! 🎉

I'm from Los Angeles too. According to your timeline you had been waiting for 13 months, correct? And you said they interviewed you and your husband separately?

Yes, we were taken in separately due to social distancing, and we did file in September 2019, so less than a year.
