Green Card received today. Just 1 week after the 2nd interview. She is now the "green card girl"

nice, how long did it all took to get her green card from filing?

the ap card (or combo ap/ead card) and her passport. if you get a flight, make sure her information is the same that's on her passport. If she changed her name after you married. bring a copy of the marriage certificate. so they will know why her passport and combocard have different last names

thanks for the reply, how do you know if it's a combo card?

We had our interview this morning ~ no approval or denial because they couldn't find his medical that was turned in at POE... 😔 The interviewer will attempt to locate it and if they can't find it, we will get an RFE for a medical... This whole AOS process has been very frustrating for us.

had Green card interview part 2 on friday. Interviewer asked my wife every yes/no question from i-485. they only asked me like 3 questions.

she said she was going to approve my wife's GC, and stamped her passport for our up coming trip to take the place of her ead/ap combo card. Just in case the GC doesnt show up before our trip.

The status check still shows the case must be reviewed. but i guess thats normal.

Corona, you can't stop us now, tonight we're on the loose

Congrats, did you bring the translator to your second interview?

Had a GC interview yesterday in Orange County. Was told we were approved right when it was finished. Took about 30 min but questions were very simple and officer was super nice. We submitted the original K1 documents in Feb 2018, so took 2 years and 2 months to get a greencard! Good luck everyone who's awaiting an interview!

Had our GC interview yesterday in San Antonio.

NOA1 July 1

Biometric Jul 24

RFE Sep 11 for Birth Certificate

Interview March 11

Got approved on the spot.

I had been feeling underprepared because we only have joint bank account and tax return for evidence but that turned out to be just enough.

Congratulations to those with approval under their belt and wishing a speedy approval for those who are still waiting.

Oh my goodness! After a week it seems like they found my husband's medical paperwork! I was expecting to have to wait months or pay more to have another exam done!

Has anyone got their interview rescheduled? Mine's on 4/9 but it's highly probable that the offices will stay closed by then... I know there are people dying and I should be grateful to be healthy but this is super frustrating.
