Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

Congratulations.

 

Depending on the center where your biometrics appointment is, you can do a walk-in earlier (this is preferred to rescheduling).

 

The notice itself has instructions on how to reschedule, so yes, you can reschedule. BUT you're better off going to an earlier walk-in because I read that if you leave biometrics too long the application can be denied because biometrics needs to be satisfied within a certain time frame of submitting the application. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

You need your AOS NOA1, your biometrics notice and photo ID (passport). Attend a USCIS Application Support Center. Not all of them take walk-ins apparently, but it's worth going and asking if you can have your biometrics completed.

Yes, as @Ethan & Shannon said, just go to the office on your biometric appt and ask them if you could complete it that day. We told them we wanted to do it that day because I was off and I am trying to save my time off work for my dental appts (which is true). So the security guard went to ask and they said  yes.

Great! thanks very much!  I just checked my account in USCIS page and it says that they received my Fingerprint fee, so does that mean that the bio-metrics instructions will show up soon by mail?

Hello all, I am happy to see that everybody is seeing progress on your applications. Just wanted to share this: I didn't include form G-1145 in my package because I overlooked it, I was so worried seeing everybody getting texts and emails, I even mailed it at a later date, but I was told that it was not going to be added..anyways, I recalled that for my K1 Visa, I opened my cases in USCIS page and I could check my case very easy, so now I have added my case #s in that account and I just check every 2 days to see any notices or changes...
