Aw, this is amazing! You are one of the lucky ones. Let us know if you get your interview in Seattle or another office.

109 days since they received my RFE. No update on AOS nor EAD. A painful and long process but your update is giving me hope!

Got the letters in mail its on 27 th jan ..so almost 4 months after status changed to ready to schedule in Aug 22.

And yes interview is in seattle office Tukwila.

The medical has to be within one year of the time of your application, not your interview. As long as your vaccines are done and it's marked "complete",it should be fine.

To my knowledge is valid for 2 years. https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-policy-manual-update

I thought 1 year and did not file it with the AOS package. I got the curtesy letter. Screening through the cases I see a slight correlation between non approval delay of EAD and no I-693. I know that it is not mandatory that is my impression. Of course I also saw cases with approved EAD without I-693.

-> For most filing with AOS package should be good.

Thank you for the link. I think this is something many here, including me, weren't aware of. It possibly explains some of the RFEs for I-693 during AOS, when the applicant really didn't expect it.

Hi fellow June filers. This is my first time posting on this thread.

I would like to ask everyone if their cases also start with "MSC". Do all cases go first to Missouri?

Also, does anyone know at which point your case is transferred to a local office? And is it always the closest office?

I've had a RFE which was received by them 61 days ago, my whole process is on its 164th day and counting. I see that some people in similar situation already got their EADs. I haven't had any significant update on mine.

Is it normal for even the EAD to be taking this long? Is there anything any of you did regarding the EAD?

Being jobless for all these months is slowly driving me insane.

Have a good day everyone.

Yes I did! They say the case is within processing time for Denver FO. I have seen here on VJ some members who had the field office and who have similar timeline like mine or later  already received their GC. I donno what's going on. 🙄

It has been 122 days since the UCSIS office received the documents I sent in response to the RFE. In the mean time I made two inquires. Yesterday I did online chat and the representative made an expedite request for the I-485. I am not sure why the representative made the request because I do not have any basis for an expedite. I received an email today that my case is under review and that I should receive a decision or notice within 60 days. Nothing much to report but that's where we are.

I've been getting documents together for our interview this month, and I've made a checklist of all the items we are bringing. Thought it might be helpful to others, but also wanted to see if anyone notices something missing from this list that we might need.

o AOS Interview Letter

o His passport

o My passport

o My driver’s license

o His birth certificate (Original + Copy)

o My birth certificate (Original + Copy)

o Marriage certificate (Original + Copy)

o My Divorce Decree (Original + Copy)

o Copy of DS-3025

o Updated I-864 form + 2018 Tax transcript + recent paystubs

o Most recent I-94

o All USCIS Notices (K1/EAD/AP/AOS/Biometrics)

o EAD/AP Combo Card

o Lease with both names (Original + Copy)

o Mobile Phone account with both names/numbers

o Progressive Car Insurance docs showing spouse

o Capital One credit card statements showing purchases from both cards/names

o Health Power of Attorney for me (Original + Copy)

o Health Power of Attorney for him (Original + Copy)

o Receipts/Itineraries for trips & reservations

o Photos – wedding, traveling, with family etc.

o Utility Bill in both names (AMS water bill)

o Facebook marriage announcement

If I'm able to file taxes before our interview on the 29th, I'm going to redo our I-864 with the new info and bring the new tax transcript etc. If not, I'm just going to bring recent paystubs and the 2018 transcript. We will probably also include some sort of proof that he is on my bank account, but we just got him added and haven't even activated his debit card yet. So we'll see.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
