Congratulations on your interview @Joyoussinger.....

Looks like Newark has a long queue.

Still no news on GC interview. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Mount Laurel's processing time, according to USCIS, is 6-21.5 months. Ours took about 7, so hopefully yours will be at the low end of your field office's estimate, too.

This is an exciting time! You just wait now for the letter which will tell you where and when the interview will be. The letter will also list everything you need to take with you. You will need originals and copies of all the supporting documents you submitted with your application - birth and marriage certificates, divorce decrees (if applicable), government issued ID for the USC, showing citizenship. You'll also need proof of your sponsor's income. There is a good chance the IO will not ask to see any of this, but you need to be prepared. What we were asked for was proof of a bona fide marriage. She wanted to see photos, bills and/or health insurance with both our names - anything that showed that we live together and have combined some resources. The letter is pretty clear. I printed out so much stuff that just stayed in our folder 😄  At least we were confident, on that day, that we were prepared. Best of luck, although I'm sure you'll do well!

Neil's green card is here!!! It just arrived and we are beyond ourselves with excitement! This concludes this part of our journey, but I will stay active here to help others still on the journey in any way I can. I also want to thank everyone here who has helped us. Your advice has been enormously appreciated. I want to wish the greatest of luck and speed to the June filers who are still waiting. You could be just a moment away from that much awaited notification. (L)

Received my EAD in the mail today! Hopefully my SS card will come soon as well.

I don't expect to get any news for the Green Card interview any time soon, but being able to work will definitely keep me busy until then!

That’s great!  We haven’t had any update since August. Our congressman made an inquiry but the response was that our applications are within the normal processing time. I guess there is nothing much we can do other than wait but good to know that you got an update. Happy new year!

They received our RFE response on 8/23 if that gives you any idea? When I talked to the agent last week, my case hadn't even been assigned yet and was still at the NBC so hopefully they are working on yours soon. We "should have" gotten an update within 60 days after they received our RFE response.
