My I-485 and I-130 cases were approved today!!!! 1 month and 9 days since the interview in Los Angeles! I got a text notification while cooking breakfast this morning and checked the old website to confirm the approval. An amazing gift before the holidays, my husband and I are so relieved. Now no more applications until ROC/Citizenship. Thank you for everyone on here for all the support! And good luck to those still waiting on decisions, interview dates, and EAD/APs.

We hired a lawyer, both the EAD/AP and green cards came to our home address. I think lawyers just get notices.

Merry Christmas, June filers. Thanks for being on this journey with me. Got home tonight after a few days visiting my in-laws and my social security card was waiting in the mailbox. USPS tracker says green card will be delivered on Friday. Best Christmas present ever 💙

Still waiting for any news. I called for a 3rd time to make a 3rd inquiry. She said that our entire file is still at the NBC (since August ~ we filed in June) and it hasn't been assigned to anyone.... Neither have any of the inquiries. This entire process has been so discouraging ~ all because of one part of my husband's birth certificate...

I called today and asked to speak with a Tier 2. The officer was able to tell us more information about the case. We said we never got an update after we sent the RFE and she said that everything was good with my case. Still at NBC but she told us not to worry because we are still at the average timeline. So even though my case is still not updated, the case is moving forward and is not on hold. 
she also told us not to pay so much attention to the online case because the updates are not as good as suppose to which is mind blowing. 
Anyway, we wrote to our congresswoman telling her our issue and she wrote a letter to the congress head at NBC making a request in my name. I thought is was worth it trying. We’ll see if it helps or not hopefully soon.

That will be our next step. My husband just wants some kind of news. He's ready to start working 🥺
