Hi guys,  my wife is freaking out because we didn't make copies of the AOS package. Is that a problem if we don't go with it at the interview? They didn't ask for it ln the interview letter

My husbands interview is this Friday, so we have been going over that letter again and again. I don't think we need the entire AOS package. The instructions say to include "original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application" which would mean marriage certificate, birth certificates, divorce decrees, etc.

and from earlier, Yes, living in many parts of CA is not worth it. I lived in the Bay Area for 11 years. Where a 1 bedroom condo in a below average neighborhood goes for 1/2 a million.

taxes are high, lots of traffic, and Patrick Bateman...wait, sorry, Gavin Newsome, figures misdemeanors do not need to be prosecuted. It's only a matter of years until Snake Plissken has to go there to retrieve the presidents daughter.

I'm glad I left last year.

Hi guys! Today I had my interview in SD. I was recommended for approval and explained when I had to apply for removal of conditions.

We were asked several questions, hubby got nervous lol. They were interested in learning more about how was our life when we were dating online and how we kept our LDR, how many times we saw each other before getting married, why my visa was done in a different country. What we liked to do on weekends, and when decided we wanted to move forward and see each other for the first time.

Congratulations!!

Today I saw a manufactured home 1b/1b for 449k in a below average neighborhood.  The housing cost is way out of hand.

For those of you had your interview already. My status changed to card is being produced. Do I have to wait to see a case was approved status to be fully sure that I was approved? 😅

Congrats!  "New card being produced" means you've been approved.  It will change to "case approved" and then "card was mailed" soon :)

No, and unless you're watching status updates every day (if not more often), you could miss the "case approved status" even if it's ever posted, since it'll likely go to 'card has been picked up by the postal service' shortly after that (which is a useful status, as it has a tracking number and link).

We had our AOS interview today for a K1 & K2....  She  really didn't ask a lot of questions, but did look at our proof of relationship. We believe everything went well and they both will be approved. The IO said that she will review the file to make sure everything is complete & correct and we should hear within 6-8 weeks. I think this is the standard message she delivers to everyone.

They were missing her daughters medical reports from Rio, but we had done a new medical here and had I693's for both of them, so we should be fine. Now, we will watch the app & website for an update.
