Thanks! I just checked with the rep through Emma. They were saying that they are not authorized to look into these details. Totally helpless :(

Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

That is odd. My EAD expedite was denied but they were able to answer to all my questions.

Oh they said that since it is in-process and we can only check the status of the case and not any details regarding the case. Which was weird. I guess we will have to wait it out. 

 

I've been following all these threads to keep me sane.. Just saw that you have your interview soon.. Best of luck! :)

Bizarre, my case status changed to case approved a day after a new card is being produced today!! 

Late 2016: Met playing Clash of Kings the West

Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

May 2017: Met in Orlando

July 2017: Arkansas and Seminole (1 night) visit

October 2017: Washington DC visit.

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

April 19th 2018: packet sent

April 23rd 2018: USPS say packet signed for.

April 25th 2018: Electronic NOA1 received 

April 26th 2018: Cheque Cashed

April 30th 2018: hard copy NOA1 received

June 2018: Seminole visit, Amanda met Chayne's  adult son

It’s not bizarre! You’ll receive the approval letter and the next status will be “your card was mailed” and “your card was picked up by USPS” (not everyone get the last status but I just got it today, the day before my card should be delivered). Congratulations!

I’ll suggest you contact them again 100 days after your biometric. You will most likely get  a response or see changes afterwards.Any changes before that is rare these days in most field offices, especially NBC.

yes, they missed or lost our medical sealed packet from port of entry. got RFE for I-693 during our interview.
going thru dr. checkup and blood work to resubmit the packet to San Bernardino office.

It's normal, even though it seems weird to go to "case approved" after "new card is being produced".

 

If everything updates, it goes "new card is being produced", then "case approved", then "card picked up by USPS" (which will have a tracking link), then "card was delivered" (also will have a tracking link).

no email or phone notification throughout the whole GC process. received a status update notification on the USCIS app
