Anybody here get an RFE? My status is stuck on we received your evidence. How long till they review it and change the status? Does it reset the clock on EAD?

We sent our response to the RFE in August and have not gotten any updates since then. When it went past the 60 day mark, we called to make an inquiry, and we are still waiting to hear news from that. After the 30th day, we will call back if no response still

We are hiting the 60 days on Tuesday. My case online still says ‘RFE sent’. I’ll have to make an inquiry and keep waiting. I was hoping to get some news by the end of the year about my EAD at leat but I don’t think that will happen

Depressing. I’m in the same boat. I’ve reached my limit and am so frustrated now. It’s just not fair to not give the EAD in their time frames when we are all eligible to receive it.

I hit the 60 day mark already and submitted an inquiry on Monday,Still on response was received.I tho I thats what delays the EAD because they can't produce it when they haven't approves your greencard or at least know that it's ready for interview.So frustrating.Am wondering if they want to approve all others and then work on those of RFEs

Very weird. How long till they have to respond to an inquiry? 

60 days is so long. Ugh. especially for a dumb RFE for stuff that we sent in already!

No word about our EAD, yet. It's hard to be patient. As for the interview - it has been scheduled and the letter is on its way. Informed delivery showed it on Friday, although it didn't arrive that day. So frustrating. We're hoping it will come tomorrow. Our status changed on November 10th to "interview has been scheduled". It was scheduled on November 8th, so it was only about a week or less until the letter was actually sent out to us. I'll post the date as soon as I know what it is. In the meantime, we're gathering whatever we'll need and the printer has been printing!

Our interview was October 24, but as I mentioned before,  we are being rescheduled because I did not bring her daughter to the interview, in error. I believe the reschedule date has been set and I received an alert yesterday that a duplicate notice regarding our case has been mailed on 11/14. I believe it is for our rescheduled interview date. 

 

We never received an RFE, but Today they both received a letter stating that we did not submit their I 693 Forms With the I485 application and we must provide this either at the interview or beforehand.

 

Isn’t this an error? Their original exams were done well within one year and this form was provided when my wife & her daughter received their K-1/K-2 visas to enter the United States.

Does anyone have any insight on my post? Do we need to go to another doctor to get the I-693 completed?
