Got an update this morning: my green card has been mailed! I was concerned it might take longer and get caught up in the influx of holiday mail processing, but luckily it seems like it’ll escape it. Crossing my fingers for all of you, I very much hope that you all get great news before the end of the year.

So happy for you!! Fingers crossed for everyone.

We received answer for our inquiry.
it basically said ‘we can’t give you information about your case. Is still processing. Keep waiting patiently’

it literally said that

UNBELIEVABLE

So it wasn’t really helpful the inquiry

Well at least you got that 🤷 ~ did they email it or mail it to you?

We opened our 2nd inquiry because we never heard anything after the first 30 days. She did tell me though that the EAD processing will have resumed as soon as they received the RFE response,  it will just be later depending on how quickly you returned the information they requested.

What?So the EAD clock restarts when you reply to the RFE?

Mail it to me. In the case history online I saw when they assigned the case and then when the completed the inquiry. But the case didn’t update at all

I called 3 times asking the same thing and got 3 different answers. Don’t know what to believe. If it means to me that the case was on hold for 3 months is really frustrating

EAD and AP in hand, exactly a week after card is being produced notification.

I want to strangle the mailman though as for some reason he thought it’s a good idea to leave the letter on the floor by the front door of our building, where anyone can get to,  instead of the mailbox. Luckily I was home and kept checking the tracker.

No, it doesn't restart, it just puts you behind a bit depending on when you returned your rfe

Hi All,

Quick question, we applied for both advance parole and work authorization, and have been checking USCIS for updates.

We did have to file a correction for the advanced parole (just entered one field incorrectly), and sent it back promptly, and were hoping this wouldn't hold up that portion.

Now USCIS says that the card is being produced when we run our MSC number for the work authorization, but no change in the message for the advance parole.

Is it possible the card being produced could come for just the work authorization, and not include the advance parole? Or are all the cards combo cards?

Ugh, so mad we had that stupid typo....

It’s a combo card. Usually the AP never updates.
