So we have been calling USCIS 4 times, and they keep saying that they can't give us a confirmation number or date it was sent, because they don't register it, or at this point they have no system that tells them they send it or where it is.

Which is weird, because I have heard from several people on VJ that they can get a date or get an online notification that the petition was sent to the NVC.

My wife called two times today, and first of all they were super rude, and then when asked to speak to a tier 2, they transferred her call, but then it hung up on her.

I'm sorry to hear the craziness about getting a case number. Like I mentioned, its a luck of the draw when you call... Some tips that could get a customer representative to help are:

1. Being extremely polite and appeal to the persons emotions, after all, the people working at these agencies are human beings too.

2. Try to rephrase your statements 2-3 times on the phone, sometimes the customer service people don't understand what you are asking for. Make it seem as you need their help.

3. Call back at a different time and hope you catch a representative on a good day. I know this last one to be true because my wife's medical expedite was denied initially, but when I called back for a second time to request an expedite I caught the right woman on the phone. She was extremely helpful and compassionate and got my expedite approved.

I'm sorry you have to go through all of this, but we all have had similar situations with the NVC and USCIS

Thank you for the advice.

In everything i do i always believe in being kind to others, and that it will always give me the best feedback no matter how rude they may seem :)

So we tried 3 times today, and they all basically said the same thing wait 90 days and that a tier 2 rep will call us back, which they off course never do.

The last lady i think was new and was trying to help, but she just said that it was sent out, even tho she wasn't able to give us a date or receipt nr or anything.

I think right now we are just going to try to wait, and maybe try to call next week and see if we can get somebody who actually wants to help us.

Or maybe just wait the 90 days.

I just hope that nothing terrible is wrong, and that hopefully it is on its way to the NVC.

It should have been at the NVC within 7-14 days. Hopefully its there and they are going to create a case number for you soon. I hope all works out!
