I agree monsoon season is nothing new. By now India has learned to function under it. I don’t know if that would affect the process of interviews. But I do know that something happened for all of us still to be waiting 90 till interview date

July is the only heavy season for Monsoon for south India...August is not that bad...it may rain here or there...I have never been to Bombay ...May be that is the reason fewer IL’s were handed out for July...they were already familiar with situation and played well...

Not to be rude or anything but, has anyone been able to get in contact with their respective embassies just to shed some light as to what is going on? I mean, a confirmation on the fact that they have a pulse would be great at this point..

Wow that's Along time.. Ankara is supposed to be 2-3 months but from what I've seen on other timelines is a month and a half. So I'm really praying God pours his blessings down this coming week. Insallah we will all soon be reunited with our loved ones .

Amen..

Embassy here do not accept phone calls anymore. I tried e-mailing them before but they wont answer the question because our case number is still at NVC and not yet with them.

Yep yep. If we are frustrated with 4-8 wks wait, what more for her. And that list is not complete. There are so many without CCs in their timelines plus the number of applicants that are not on VJ. 😐

Are we sure this is an embassy issue? If everyone's cases are still at the NVC waiting for interview dates, it could be the Trump administration slowing down immigration. I just read an article about the delays for certain visa categories. This might be causing the NVC to re-evaluate all the approved IV applications to make sure they don't fall under those categories.

I might be overthinking this, but it could makes sense.
